IMLEX at University of Eastern Finland

At UEF, IMLEX is co-organized by the School of Computing and the Department of Physics and Mathematics at the Joensuu campus. IMLEX is part of the Institute of Photonics.

Institute of Photonics combines all research and education in optics and photonics at the University of Eastern Finland. It provides a unique combination of expertize and facilities on photonics. Institute of Photonics belongs to the Photonics Research and Innovation (PREIN) Flagship.
Currently there are three Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees under the Institute:

Sm4rtLab at UEF

Sm4rtLab is new, revolutionary augmented reality environment combining science and teaching. As part of IMLEX teaching, student will get the chance to create and use virtual laboratory settings. See more details in the Sm4rtLab website.
